First day in UK

Last day of August, only 11 days left! My last couple weekends are so full with lunch and dinner plans. It was kind difficult to arrange the time ;-) see my schedule.

Finally, I ordered the new camera and I will pick up on this saturday! It is only $3150, i am so glad that they have the white in stock, I was waited for a month and almost almost to get a black one...

Today is 12th Aug, 2 weeks after i resigned my job, a month later today i will be on the plane and landed in Heathrow airport. It is still so unreal to me, i think i will started to believe it when i step on the plane.

As you might have seen some news of the UK riots, well... the first thing is... i am glad that i didn't pick the University of Birmingham, i applied it and they gave me an unconditional offer but fortunately i am more into Portsmouth, I just like this place and i think because of HK, the sea is one of the reason that i pick this University.

i have to admit that i am concert about the safety but the good thing is people in Portsmouth are wealthy in general, friend told me that i will be fine there. fighters and my toes crossed.

Welcome to the world of poor

Today, I am officially jobless. i left myself month and a half for holiday before moving to the UK. Special request from my colleagues on my last working day, I had bought some ice-lolly for treat. It was not difficult to leave this job at all compared to my last job. Felt ordinary on the way home. The thing is I don't have much friends here even worked here for almost 2 years, or too many people are not friendly here, and i think i will keep in touch with the friends in LDA closely.

The first jobless day, I finally bought a webcam with microphone for my mum and i generally introduced her how to use it, Skype all sorted! Also, my mum and my phones had registered on a free SMS webpage. Thats mean she can receive my SMS from my computer! When i want to chat with my mum on Skype, i just need to inform her by SMS beforehand! it costs us zero!

There are 14 floors at Trafalgar Hall, 13th and 14th floor are for studio flat. I found 5 neighbor from the facebook group so far and some other nice people in the same building ;-)

Finally, everything is already!

As you can see, this is my student visa to UK. Yeah! everything is already and i just spoke with my boss, i told him i want to leave by end of this month! you have no idea how painful to sit in the office for me, i can not focus at all and i have no mood to work as well. so i think being honest is good for both of us ;-)
